It seems to be the simple function but one of the most important ones for me. What a shame that I have read this article only now.. I was using my old iPhone because I thought that new one has nothing better. But now I will definitely purchase the new one because of copy + paste function available. Hehe. Eventually it will be an unconscious thing; you'll have a hard time not sharing optimism with the world.

I don't recall seeing much swearing on your Twitter account. That said, I know lots of people that don't swear on Twitter, but have potty mouths in real life.

Online dating sites might provide access to lots of people but who has the time to use them! I joined an online site and found that everytime I logged on I was swamped with messages- most from complete idiots only after one thing! By the time I had sifted through them all I couldnt be bothered to contact the ones that seemed to be genuinely looking for a relationship.

I'm definitely not restricting it to Australia. I hate it when other countries (namely the USA) bar anyone outside from accessing giddy fun.

I just figure that if I'm organising this, then it should probably be in the country I'm in right now. I won't be in the USA until 2010.

What ticks me off are girls who say they are HOT GEEKS just because they are female & aware of the internet. They don't even contribute to the technological world, but are famous for some reason.

I agree the Mino isn't the best cam out there, but for its price and size I really love it. It doesn't handle fast light changes or bright backlight so well, but I never expected it would. I just recorded some videos for work with mine, and it looks crispy enough.

Obviously a high-end pro camera will always be better, but to carry in your pocket this really can't be beat. Good for blogging vids, rather than true video production.

I'll be recording a concert on Saturday, I'll see how that goes.

I get your point about birth dates! However, you must know that I work in a hospital blood bank. The one factor that is constant, and how I look up a patient's previous blood bank history is by birth-date. Because I have a lot of medical, laboratory experience, I always check at least three other places before I permanently enter "No Previous Record Found," when I am testing for blood typing, antibody screening or crossmatching blood. In other words, it is acceptable to modify your birth-date in certain places on the internet, but when it comes to serious issues - stick with the "God given one," it may save YOUR life!

If this is an example of the "Official Sam Houston Apts." then they must be collecting a lot of money from students who do not know where/what they are moving into. I really doubt that most young people are not concerned with the future of the environment. Students may not even realize until after they move in, NO recycling exists there, and they are forced to place all their trash into a nasty, over-flowing dumpster. I am sure there is a Recycling Center nearby & Huntsville could benefit from the revenue generated from the tenants. Stay tuned for more examples of ways the Arbors Apartments should be making improvements to become a more respected, social gathering place!

Movie piracy is also a similar issue, most movies are released in the USA before Australia, plus the release of the movie on DVD (etc...). I beleive that there would be a drastic decrease in movie piracy if everything was distributed at the same date and time worldwide.

I also think that content like TV shows should be licensed worldwide, not just in selected countries.

I definitely agree about the restrictions on Internet content in Australia, Hayden! The reason they probably don't put the show live online is because of the sponsors that pay millions of dollars for advertising during the commercial breaks.

Content providers all over the world have a huge opportunity to share events like this LIVE and put localised advertising on the page, as video overlays, and during commercial breaks. In Australia, we'd see relevant ads for companies like Optus and Apple with prices in AUD$.

Hulu should be doing this too! After living in America for a year I realised how badly Australia has it. Sure, our landscape and cities are quite unique, but our technology is so messed up that I'm planning on moving to America. Americans come here on holidays for a reason; they know they can go back to good Internet and content when they get home.

Oh, and airing Supernatural (and many other programs) a week after they air in the USA doesn't cut it. I'd be glad if they aired it here within 24 hours hours. Anything more and I'm going to find other ways to watch it.

I usually hate awards shows, especially the red carpet, but the VMA seemed different to the traditional style awards show. The performances were awesome.

I don't have Foxtel, and so I tried to find video clips of it on the MTV website, but because I am in Australia, they are major failures, and don't allow the content to be viewed.

It would be great if they did more with the internet, and I think they are starting to go into the right direction, with their prompt upload of videos online, blog posts and photos, and also the use of twitter to work with their viewers, but I think they need to take it a step forward. Maybe a few steps.

They should broadcast the show online, and make it easy for people to access.

Allow the content to the ENTIRE world. We shouldn't have to download software to cover up our IP so we CAN view the content.

The internet is a large medium and now, there are a lot more people switching off the TV and using the internet as their source of content.

I beleive that networks should utilize the internet to work for EVERYONE.

I posted on FB, but I'll post here too. Oh and Ryan B is an awesome photographer. I photographed his engagement photos when he was in town. He's a good guy.

So I've basically seen this type post all over the internet, it's just usually ppl I don't know. In the end this is like listing a bunch of computer gear and software and saying, "how do I make a website"... Or "how do I edit a video". It depends on too much stuff.

So just overshoot, and try to plan so there is more photo time than you need...do NOT get to caught in up the gear, and if you carry a bunch of stuff have a friend come to carry all your junk. That helps a lot.

I remember my first few weddings. They sucked. It's always best to assist other wedding photogs as an assistant or 2nd shooter. GOOD LUCK MAN
